Tippah County Republicans Elect New Officers at County Convention
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - April 9, 2024
Tippah County, Mississippi - The Mississippi Republican Party successfully held conventions across the state on Saturday, April 6, 2024. The conventions saw the participation of delegates from various precincts who convened at 10:00 AM to elect delegates for the county conventions held at 3:00 PM.
In Tippah County, the Republican convention took place at the county courthouse, where delegates elected a new executive committee and officers. These individuals are now responsible for upholding and promoting the party's principles and values in local government for the next four years.
The newly elected officers of the Tippah County Republican Party are:
Dana Criswell - Chair
Jim Gunter - Vice Chair
Laquita Wilkerson - Secretary
Following the convention, newly elected Chairman Dana Criswell expressed his enthusiasm about working with the people of Tippah County, stating:
"I am excited about the opportunity to work with the people of Tippah County as we promote the principles and values that make our state great. Over the next four years, the Tippah County Republican Party will demonstrate to the people of our county that the Republican Party has the answers that can best address the issues and problems that face our state and our nation."
